- From the Mac OS X Finder
, hit Command+K to bring up the ‘Connect to Server’ window. - In the "Server Address:" field, type smb://win.ad.jhu.edu/cloud/son$/SON
- If you want to save the network drive in your list of favorite servers, click the "+" button to the right of the Server Address field.
- Click "Connect"
- In the "Name:" field, enter your JHED ID (something like "jdoe13")
- In the "Password:" field, enter your JHED ID password (the same password you use to access most Hopkins resources)
- To have the computer remember your username and password, select Remember this password in my keychain (only do this if you own the computer, it is password protected and is secure)
- Click “Connect” to mount the network drive.
