Macintosh OS X:

  1. From the Mac OS X FinderFinder Image Added, hit Command+K to bring up the ‘Connect to Server’ window.
  2. Enter the path to the network drive you want to map, ie: In the "Server Address:" field, type smb://win.ad.jhu.edu/cloud/son$/SON and click ‘Connect’.

  3. If you want to save the network drive in your list of favorite servers, click the plus "+" button next to the path. Enter your Login: Win\<Your_JHED_ID> and Password: <Your_JHED_Passwordand click “OK” to mount the network drive.right of the Server Address field.
  4. Click "Connect"
  5. In the "Name:" field, enter your JHED ID (something like "jdoe13")
  6. In the "Password:" field, enter your JHED ID password (the same password you use to access most Hopkins resources)
  7. To have the computer remember your username and password, select Remember this password in my keychain .(only do this if you own the computer, it is password protected and is secure)
  8. Click “Connect” to mount the network driveClick Connect.
